Welcome to Living Water Fellowship

Our Belief

There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is.  He is perfectly holy, just, loving, truthful, and good.  God has always existed—one Being in three Persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the only inspired, infallable Word of God and the ultimate authority for the life of faithful discipleship.

We were created in the image of God to live in intimacy with Him, yet we rejected the Lordship and glory of God and chose to go our own way.  Sin, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of this decision.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, the Savior of the world; fully human and fully God.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit to release God’s Kingdom on earth.  He was crucified so our sins could be forgiven, He died and was buried, on the third day He was raised from the dead, and today reigns in heaven in the presence of the Father and His people where He intercedes on our behalf.  Jesus’ victory on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy:  sin, lies, sickness, and spiritual torment.

We are saved by the grace of God (His unearned, undeserved love and favor) through faith in who Jesus is and what He did for us on the cross.  Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing, and receiving Jesus as his or her Savior and Lord.  It is His heart to make all things new.

The Holy Spirit makes it clear to us where we have settled for less than God’s purpose for our lives:  where we have believed lies about ourselves and God, where we have wandered into destructive patterns of behavior and thinking.  The Holy Spirit reveals the truth so that we can live the abundant life Jesus came to give us.  The Holy Spirit recreates us in the image of Jesus, washes our sins away, gives us a new heart and a transformed mind leading us to grow in faithful obedience, and adopts us into the Kingdom of God as the beloved sons and daughters of the King of Heaven.

It is the presence of the Holy Spirit in us which enables us to live in personal integrity and minister with supernatural power.  The baptism of the Holy Spirit is poured out on those who believe so that they may have power to become witnesses (Acts 1:4-8; 2:4) doing the things Jesus did and even greater things than these (John 14:12).
The church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior and the Lord of the world.  He gave his church the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

The church exists to continue the ministry of Jesus, bringing people into the Kingdom of God by undoing the works of the enemy, proclaiming and living the good news of the life-giving love of God, discipling nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded.

At the end of the age Jesus will return in all His glory for His bride, the church.  There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.

As disciples of Jesus who are filled with the Holy Spirit, we carry His life in us to defeat the powers of darkness bent on the destruction of individuals, cultures, and communities to the glory of God.  We are in a spiritual battle and God has equipped us with spiritual gifts, the fruit of the Spirit, and the armor of God so that we may be VICTORIOUS.  It is God’s purpose through Jesus Christ that His sons and daughters are more than conquerors (Romans 8) so that the will of God may be done on earth as it is in heaven—Hallelujah and Amen.
